Short bio
Marta Cartabia (Ph.D. in Law, European University Institute, Florence), is President Emeritus of the Italian Constitutional Court and full professor of Constitutional Law at Bocconi University, Milan. She was President of the Italian Constitutional Court from Dec 2019 to Sept 2020. She has been visiting scholar and professor in several universities in Europe and USA (NYU, Yale and Notre Dame University). She is a Substitute member for Italy of the European Commission for Democracy through Law of the Council of Europe (also known as Venice Commission).
