Short Bio
Elisabetta Ottoz, full professor of Applied Economics at the University of Turin, has been Director of the Department o Economics and Statistics Cognetti De Martiis since 2021, and was recently elected President of the Academic Senate’s Research Commission . In the three-year period 2015-18, She directed the School of Legal, Political and Economic and Social Sciences of the same University.
She graduate in Turin, obtained a master's degree from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Pavia
She has carried out research and contributed to international journals and conferences in the following fields: theoretical models of innovation diffusion, economics of intellectual property rights, secrets, litigation, licensing agreements and hold-ups, local public transport and night-time economy.
