Discover the program of the International Festival of Economics 2024
We are happy to announce that the program of the International Festival of Economics is now online.
The third edition, scheduled from May 30 to June 2 in Turin, will explore a theme of great significance: “Who Owns Knowledge“. With a multidisciplinary approach, we will address the challenges of navigating knowledge in an era where information is increasingly accessible and sometimes less reliable, trying to provide answers to a fundamental problem: how to govern, rather than passively undergo, technological progress.
We will engage in dialogue on this topic with Nobel laureates, distinguished Italian and international speakers from the most prestigious research centers worldwide. The list of events also includes discussions led by journalists, eminent historians, analysts, and influential representatives from Italian and European institutions.
Similar to past editions, Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto will be one of the Festival’s main locations, hosting 31 events.
The International Festival of Economics is conceived, designed, and organized by Editori Laterza, under the scientific direction of Tito Boeri. The event is promoted by TOLC (Turin Local Committee), which brings together the Piedmont Region, the City of Turin, the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, the CRT Foundation, the University of Turin, the Polytechnic of Turin, the Turin Chamber of Commerce, Unioncamere Piedmont, Unione Industriali Turin, and Legacoop, coordinated by Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto.
