Carlo Alberto Medal 2025: invitation to vote
Collegio Carlo Alberto invites the academic community to submit a nomination for the 2025 Carlo Alberto Medal.
Instituted in 2007 by the Collegio Carlo Alberto in Italy, the Carlo Alberto Medal rewards an Italian economist (resident in Italy or abroad) below the age of 40 for his/her outstanding contributions to Economics.
Further details and the list of past winners can be found here.
We ask for your participation in the nomination process of a short-list of high quality candidates. This year, any Italian economist born in 1985 or later is eligible (and this will be the last chance to receive the award for economists born in years 1985-86).
You can submit your nomination (a brief motivation is welcome but not necessary) via this form. We guarantee the anonymity and confidentiality of the information submitted.
The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, March 7, 2025.
Next, the selection committee (Marianne Bertrand, Darrell Duffie, Lars Hansen, Alessandro Lizzeri, Rosa Matzkin, Stephen Morris, and Fabrizio Zilibotti) will evaluate the nominations and select the winner that will be announced by the end of March 2025.
The winner will deliver a lecture and receive the Medal at the Collegio in late Spring 2025.
