The Vilfredo Pareto Lectures in Economics and Social Sciences are delivered by distinguished scholars to honour Vilfredo Pareto (1848-1923), an alumnus of the University and of the Politecnico of Torino and a towering figure in the social sciences, who gave fundamental contributions to Economics, Sociology, and Political Science.

Carlo Alberto Medal Lectures
The Carlo Alberto Medal Lecture is delivered by the recipient of the Carlo Alberto Medal, awarded to a young Italian economist (resident in Italy or abroad) under the age of 40 for his/her outstanding research contributions to the field of economics (broadly defined).
For 2011, the Carlo Alberto Medal Lecture will be delivered on October 28 at 17:30 as centerpiece of the inauguration ceremony of the 2011-2012 Academic Year:

Onorato Castellino Lectures
Established by the research network CeRP, this lecture commemorates the late Onorato Castellino (1935-2007), who was the Collegio's first president, as well as a founder of CeRP, and who lead the institution with vision, integrity and grace. The lecture series hosts distinguished scholars and public intellectuals.
